Valiant Marketing Group
Flourishes With Teamwork
When we were children, we were asked, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” I wanted to be a singer, but if that didn’t work out, I wanted to be a horse trainer. “You can be anything you want to be when you grow up,” we were told. I kept busy with sports and extracurricular activities throughout grade school and high school. I loved my friends, family, volleyball and cheerleading. Then, we are generally asked, “What are you going to college for?” I picked Fashion Merchandising. I would be able to travel the beaches of the world once I could become a successful buyer for a fashion company. “Major in something that makes you happy.” “Chose what financially makes sense for what you want in your future.” Friends changed their major because they weren’t happy or thought it wasn’t a financially stable career path. I knew I wasn’t sure about mine, but I stuck to it. I took on many leadership roles and stayed involved in the campus community. After graduating with a B.A., I became frustrated with the question, “What do you plan on doing with your major?” Student loans piled up. I have all of these dreams that I thought were so impossible or unattainable, especially in the state of not knowing how to get there: owning a houseboat, an expansive artistic community garden, and having the flexibility and finances to travel. Valiant Marketing Group has been the answer to all of my questions. Valiant has not only given me respect and responsibility, this company has inspired me to open up my eyes to the endless opportunities for growth in my career and my life. I now see my dreams turning into attainable goals. Now, when asked about my career, I get excited! There is so much more to come. I share my dreams with others and when I get the “That’s impossible” types of responses, I get even more excited to show them that… “Impossible is just an opinion.” – Paulo Coelho
I moved to California shortly after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in Marketing and a degree in Psychology. Let’s be honest, these are two very broad degrees and I didn’t have a solid plan for what I wanted to do with them. What I did have was a vision of myself embarking on a journey where I could create my own path to a successful future. I landed myself in position where my success was tied directly to the work I put in and my ability to coach and train others. This was perfect for me because I knew I had a rock solid work ethic and I was looking for a chance to add value to other people. I knew I wanted to feel like an asset and not a number, but feeling like an asset by making other people feel valued was more than I could have asked for. Through a lot of personal and professional development of my own, I now help other people think bigger, understand business, know the value of work ethic, and step into leadership positions. Valiant Marketing Group is growing rapidly and we are so excited to find motivated individuals that are ready to dive into their professional careers and be a part of the growth we are facing.
Hey there it’s Jeffrey, I was born and raised in Los Angeles so I’m a proud SoCal native. I never knew exactly what I wanted to chase as a career but knew I craved something more. It’s never easy choosing something you want to stick with forever, but I know that if you aim to make progress towards a better version of you today, you’ll surpass anything you imagine. As soon as I graduated from California State University Long Beach with my Bachelors of Science in Marketing, I decided to leave my 2 previous positions at the time in order to seek a career path here at Valiant. Leadership is a developed skill and is more than just a title. At Valiant you are pushed to challenge yourself beyond the limits of what you think and are tested to see how well you perform in all areas of life. The idea of a challenge has always fascinated me and I love that I am always able to push myself further at Valiant to become a better version of myself every single day. I’m glad that Valiant offers an abundant amount of resources and networking opportunities to make the development cycle a lot easier. I am excited to overcome my weaknesses and take the necessary steps to make my long-term goal a reality.
I was born in Egypt, lived there until I graduated from 6th October University with a bachelor degree in Language and Translation. I speak English and Arabic fluently. I also know German, French and I am working on Spanish. I lived in Kuwait, Lebanon, Canada and finally the USA.
My first job was a flight attendant in Kuwait Airways. Traveled to most of Europe, the Far East and of course the Middle East. Met a lot of people, I learned a lot and I always say I traveled all around the world to find California. I come from an all entrepreneurial family. So my goal was to have my own business but I know nothing about running a business. I didn’t have a plan or a clear vision of what and how I will do it. Since Marketing was always interesting to me but knew nothing about it, Valiant was the answer to my quest. With the intensive training, marketing theories and book club, I got the map to find my treasure. I had nothing to offer but an eager student mentality and a smile. Now every day I learn new tricks and secrets of the market. My end goal is to oversee and own 3 to 4 different businesses before I’m 40. It’s hard but achievable.
I was born in Southern California and have lived in Huntington Beach since high school. I recently graduated from California State University Long Beach with a double major in Marketing and in Management. Leading up to graduation, I had been working in management for a rather large corporate restaurant; and while it was great experience, I knew it was not what I wanted to do post college. What I really wanted was a job that correlated more with my education. I wanted to work with a company that was a combination of both marketing and management; preferably a marketing company that allowed me to fulfill a leadership role. Something that not only helped me grow, but allowed me to help others do the same. My answer? Valiant Marketing Group. Valiant has given me the opportunities to learn and grow within my field; while also providing me with the training and tools needed to lead and develop others. The culture at Valiant is both challenging and supportive, in all the best ways. It allows someone to be in control of their own growth, and to me that is very rewarding.
I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and moved to Los Angeles to get away from the cold and attend the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I graduated with my Associate’s degree in Beauty Industry Merchandising and Marketing but, wasn’t sure what path I wanted to travel next. While in school, I worked at the front desk of a casual salon where I learned a lot about managing others and responsibility for a store at a larger scale; I wasn’t sure what to do post-graduation but, had decided that working my way up in that company was not what I wanted to follow. After finding Valiant Marketing Group through my school, I was immediately drawn to the educational opportunities. While I wasn’t necessarily interested in more time spent in school, I love to learn and grow and was excited about the opportunity for both within this company. Every day I learn more about not only marketing but training and developing others, providing me with intrinsic motivation and self-gratification. With the tools, training, and structure provided by Valiant, I am able to grow and help others learn in ways I never thought would be available for me.
I was born and raised in Prescott, a small town in northern Arizona. Growing up I was a high level, competitive gymnast for 17 years and eventually earned a college scholarship to the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Although I loved gymnastics with all my heart, I was not happy in Connecticut nor feeling like I was obtaining the education that I wanted. I chose to move back to Arizona and transfer later that year to FIDM, the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles. It had always been a dream of mine to move to LA, but being from a small town not many people supported my decision, but that just pushed me harder to make it happen. I graduated two years later with my degree in Merchandise Marketing. While going to school I worked full time as a gymnastics coach to keep the sport in my life. One of my biggest passions is to help others who have goals and dreams, work extremely hard day in and day out to reach those goals. I found Valiant Marketing Group and realized I could have the best of both worlds where I still was able to do something in the marketing world while helping others grow at the same time. I never want anyone to feel like they are unable to do something because of where they are from, what their background is, or because people doubt them, and being apart of Valiant allows me to empower and encourage people to achieve their ultimate goals while at the same time reach my own. While it was a roller coaster ride moving to Los Angeles sitting here 3 years later, I know where I’ve always belonged and who I truly am which is someone who empowers others to do whatever they set their mind and hearts to. I currently live in Laguna Beach and anytime I’m not at work you’ll find me at the beach, salty and drinking a chai.
I was born in La Habra, CA, and raised in Fullerton most of my life. I originally attended school for Graphic Design, but soon realized I couldn’t afford my education. I joined the Air Force at age 20 to gain work experience. I spent six years as a Radar Air Traffic Controller, where I grew to love fast-paced work environments, challenges, and mentoring and training other individuals to their full potential. I lived in Las Cruces, NM for four and a half years before receiving orders to South Korea, where I lived for a year and a half. As you might imagine, those locations were wildly different, but each place taught me something new that I utilized to grow as an individual.
I brought my experiences to Valiant Marketing Group to help others grow and to give myself a new challenge. Although my previous job was mentally tough, Valiant has taught me so much more about myself by challenging me to be better every day. I was hired on with no experience in marketing and much to learn. The best thing I brought to the marketing field was my willingness to learn and my refusal to quit.
My goal is to own a record store/music studio, where I can work within the local music scene to help new artists record their music without breaking their budget. I have been in and out of bands since high school, and I know how tough it is to make progress. Every day at Valiant, I learn more skills and challenge myself to grow in order to make that goal into a reality.
